Graduating high school this year? Planning to attend a 2- or 4-year accredited college or university? Our Kern Futures scholarship application season is now open at Kern Community Foundation! From the home page of our website, go to Students > Scholarships to apply online. With one simple application, you may be considered for dozens of scholarships, many of which have renewal opportunities.
For more information, contact Scholarship Coordinator Britny Boos at email@example.com or 661.616.2605. Don’t miss out: In the current school year, more than $620,000 were awarded in scholarships to 334 students throughout Kern County, and close to one-third of those were for graduating high school seniors!
Consider keeping your charitable giving local this holiday season and donating to one of more than 200 Kern County nonprofits and close to a dozen endowed funds featured in Kern Community Foundation’s latest issue of the Community Giving Guide, which you can download in pdf format using this link.
