Hoffmann Hospice’s Light Up A Life Ceremony

Over the past 26 years, Hoffmann Hospice has marked the beginning of the holiday season with our annual Light Up A Life tree lighting ceremony. The celebration is an opportunity to pause to celebrate the memory of loved ones that have passed away and individuals that make life a little brighter. Together we will illuminate the darkness and give hope to our community this holiday season.
This year when you make a Light Up A Life dedication, a light symbolically representing the person you are honoring will illuminate The Tree at The Marketplace Bakersfield throughout the Holiday Season.
With each dedication, your loved one’s name will be added to our list of names to be read during our live ceremony and included in our 2021 Light Up A Life List of Names which will be available online and printed in The Bakersfield Californian on Sunday, December 12, 2021.
The reading of names will also be recorded and shared after the event to be enjoyed by anyone who cannot attend the in-person event.
