Flood Ministries is excited to announce its inaugural Spring Fling fundraiser. On Saturday, March 25, 2023, the exclusive event will be held at the Doss Estate, located at 5100 Dotson Street, Bakersfield, CA. Kick off this spring by enjoying the trademark tastes of KC Steakhouse. There will be wine and craft beer pairings provided by local business connoisseurs. In addition, a highlight of the evening will be music and dancing, along with a classic car show.
Flood Ministries is on the frontlines daily, working hard in the fight against homelessness. There is a stigma associated with mental health and substance use disorders regarding homelessness. The reality is that it is moms, dads, sons, daughters, grandmas, and grandpas who have experienced life’s traumas and fallen on hard times. They are people in need of someone to give them a chance. Our community leaders must step up and be influential to aid those who cannot help themselves. When we reduce homelessness while transforming lives, this leads to reduced spending from the criminal justice system. In contrast, this provides hope and opportunity for economic mobility, while enhancing the community’s economic development. Flood is searching for community partnerships to raise donations for the fight against homelessness while carving out opportunity for people’s hopes and dreams.
