March 2026 Event Schedule Charities

Catholic Charities of Bakersfield is hosting its monthly community events for March 2026. They invite you to join them for several opportunities. You can find support, access fresh food, and help their mission.

Event Highlights:

  • Community Distributions: The team hosts a food distribution in Rosamond at St. Mary of the Desert on Thursday, March 5. Another event occurs in Shafter at Healthy Start on Friday, March 13. Both distributions run from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
  • Volunteer Orientation: You can get involved by attending the Volunteer Orientation at the Catholic Charities office. This meeting is on Wednesday, March 11, at 10:00 am.
  • Senior Support: A special CAPK Senior Food Distribution takes place on Tuesday, March 17. Join the team at the Catholic Charities office from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

Fresh Food Access: The Farmer’s Market Food Distribution opens at 8:00 am and runs until 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 25.
