Girls Wrestling Workshop Kern County – November 22, 2025
The Girls Wrestling Workshop Kern County is a free event designed to help girls build strength, confidence, and leadership. Hosted by The Wrestling Factory of Kern, this workshop offers hands-on wrestling training, friendly competition, and a meaningful service project that benefits the community.
The workshop runs from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 22. It begins with a review of the fundamental wrestling skills taught in earlier sessions. Coaches guide participants through clear, easy-to-follow drills. As a result, girls gain confidence in their movements and technique.
Next, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, participants take part in a Mini Takedown Tournament. The tournament focuses on growth instead of pressure. Girls apply what they learned in a supportive and encouraging environment. After the tournament, everyone takes a short break.
Finally, the workshop ends with a community service project. Girls create bracelets and prepare teddy bear donations for Memorial Hospital’s Pediatric Wing. This activity teaches kindness, teamwork, and leadership. It also helps girls see how they can make a positive impact in Kern County.
Girls in Kern County benefit from programs that promote empowerment and healthy development. This workshop gives them space to try wrestling, build friendships, and challenge themselves. Additionally, the combination of athletics and service helps girls grow both physically and emotionally. Many participants leave feeling more confident and motivated.
