Turkey Distribution Event | Catholic Charities of Bakersfield (Downtown Bakersfield, CA)

The Turkey Distribution Event, hosted by Catholic Charities of Bakersfield, will take place on Wednesday, November 26, 2026, from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at 825 Chester Avenue in Bakersfield, California.

This free event invites families and community members to pick up turkeys and other Thanksgiving foods in preparation for the holiday season. Bilingual staff will be available to help with translation and connect attendees with local food, housing, and utility-assistance programs.

During the event, guests can also learn about social-service resources, early-education programs, and family-support services offered throughout Kern County. The goal is to make sure every household has both a holiday meal and access to ongoing community support.
