The St. Mary’s School November Food Event, hosted by Catholic Charities of Bakersfield, will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at 1732 11th Avenue in Delano, California. This free event invites local families and community members to pick up food, clothing, and helpful resources that support health and well-being across Kern County.
At the event, guests can receive referrals for food and clothing, family support services, and information about preschool and early-education programs. In addition, bilingual staff will provide translation help to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported.
Visitors will also meet Catholic Charities of Bakersfield representatives who can connect them with housing, healthcare, utility, and education programs. This means families not only get short-term help but also learn about long-term support available in their community.
Overall, this event is part of Catholic Charities’ ongoing work to partner with schools, churches, and local organizations. Through these efforts, families can access trusted programs that strengthen Kern County communities and promote lasting stability.
