2026 Kern County ADA Conference

Independent Living Center of Kern County is hosting the 2026 Kern County ADA Conference. Celebrating 36 years of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the event will take place on Thursday July 30 and Friday July 31 2026 at the Bakersfield Marriott.
This conference provides an opportunity to learn about accessibility and inclusion. Retired Chief of Police Lyle Martin will serve as the guest speaker. Attendees can also participate in breakout sessions covering digital accessibility and student rights. Additionally, a separate Casino Night Fundraiser will be held on July 30.
