Attendees can participate in tying blankets for Kern’s Project Linus and assembling hygiene kits for local organizations such as Open Door\, The Mission\, and the Jamison Center. \nThe day will culminate in a celebration of local charity organizations during an Italian dinner\, followed by a general assembly from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM\, open to the public. This year we are focus is on mothers and the kids in the first 5 years we will help to provide the necessary items that they need to help them get through the holiday season diapers\, wipes\, formula\, baby clothes\, etc.. Your sponsorship is a big help to our low-income families of our and the surrounding communities\, last year we served 200 families at this event with toys and food boxes\, and this year with your help we can do more by helping families and mothers and kids in the first 5 years this is very important to (SHKLCC) that we continue to serve & help as many families as we can\, we can achieve this with your help.

DESCRIPTION:JJ’s Legacy: Got The Dot Walk-a-thon\nWe are thrilled that our Got The Dot Club has doubled from 12 participating high schools to 24 high schools in just one year! And we need help continuing our growth and bringing awareness and education about organ\, eye\, and tissue donation as well as to honor families who have been through the organ donation process. That’s why JJ’s Legacy’s Got the Dot High School Leadership Program is proud to hold its third annual Got the Dot Walk-A-Thon on Saturday\, March 2nd. \nThe 5k walk\, organized entirely by high school students\, takes place at CSUB’s Amphitheater from 9 am-12:30 pm! The walk is family-friendly and open to everyone. \nThere will be food trucks\, live bands\, activities and games\, as well as information booths. Check-in will begin at 9am\, the event kicks off at 10:30 am\, and the walk will begin at 11 am. \nAnyone who pre-registers for the event by Tuesday\, February 20 th will get a FREE T-shirt\, however\, day of participation is welcome. The goal this year is to get 1\,000 participants!
