DESCRIPTION:The Wrestling Factory of Kern is hosting Cards\, Chips & Charity\, a charity poker tournament\, on Saturday\, October 10\, 2026 in Bakersfield. The event supports local youth by helping provide new mats\, training gear\, and opportunities for the next generation of wrestlers. Expected attendance is 100+ players\, families\, and community members. \nEvent Details \nRegistration is limited to 72 players. \n\nRegistration & Check-In: 3:00 PM\nCards Fly: 4:30 PM\nLocation: 19227 Flightpath Way\, Bakersfield\, CA 93308\n\nCost and What’s Included \nEntry is $125 per player and includes dinner. Rebuys are $25\, with unlimited rebuys available during the first hour. Players who make the final table take home a prize basket\, and the top 3 finishers receive cash prizes. \nAbout the Beneficiary \nAll proceeds benefit The Wrestling Factory of Kern\, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building strong kids\, strong character\, and a stronger community through wrestling. \nSponsorship Opportunities \nSponsorships are available at four levels. The Event Sponsor ($5\,000\, only one available) includes 10 players and top-tier event-wide recognition. The Bar Sponsor and Food Sponsor ($2\,500 each\, only one available per category) each include 8 players and area-specific signage and recognition. DESCRIPTION:The Bakersfield Area Golf Tournament is taking place Monday\, October 19\, 2026 at Stockdale Country Club in Bakersfield. The event benefits Shielding the Frontline Kern County\, Kern Community Foundation\, and the Kern County 999 Foundation. Golfers and community members are invited to take part in a day of golf that supports these three local causes. \nEvent Details \nRegistration and breakfast begin the morning of the event\, followed by a shotgun start. \n\n7:30 AM: Breakfast & Registration\n9:00 AM: Shotgun Start\nLocation: Stockdale Country Club\, 7701 Stockdale Highway\, Bakersfield\, CA\n\nCost and What’s Included \nA foursome is $700 and includes breakfast\, lunch\, gift bags\, and awards. Lunch-only tickets are also available for purchase at $45 each for those not playing. \nSponsorship Opportunities \nSponsorships are available at three levels. Gold Sponsors ($5\,000) receive two four-member teams and two tee signs displayed on the course. Blue Sponsors ($2\,500) receive one four-member team and a tee sign on the course.
