The Women's and Girls' Fund is Now Accepting Teen & Young Ladies Applications
Sep 12, 2016

Each year The Women’s and Girls’ Fund Grant Allocations Committee will seat committee members, including two young women between the ages of 16 and 21 to serve on the project selection committee. This is an exciting opportunity for a young woman who wishes to have a positive impact on our local community. It provides hands on experience with active community leadership, encouraging role models and helps develop practical decision making skills.

The 2017 grants will focus on Education. The Grants Allocations Committee will review project applications that specifically address these issues affecting women and girls of Kern County. Up to $30,000 or more in grant monies may be awarded.

Click the link below for general information and the application.

Please fax or mail the entire application, which is due by 4:00pm Monday, October 17, 2016.

Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, October 21, 2016.
